Mobile app support

Help without the panic.

No Panic Math provides focused Grade 9 algebra help. Type a question or choose a photo, confirm what the app read, and work through the steps at your pace.

Quick help

Try these first.

The app works without an account. You can always skip the camera and photo library and type your algebra question instead.

Type a question

  1. Choose the typed-question option.
  2. Enter one Grade 9 algebra question.
  3. Check the read-back carefully before continuing.

Use a photo

  1. Choose the camera or photo-picker option.
  2. Keep the problem well lit and inside the frame.
  3. Crop out unrelated writing when possible.
  4. Confirm or correct the recognized question.

If photo recognition misses something

Try a closer, sharper image with strong contrast and one problem at a time. Handwriting, glare, shadows, or crowded pages can affect recognition. You can type the question instead.

If camera or photos will not open

The app asks for access only after you choose a camera or photo action. Check the app’s permissions in your device settings, or continue with typed input without granting access.

If the app seems stuck

  • Return to the previous screen and try the question again.
  • Close and reopen the app.
  • Make sure the question is within the app’s focused Grade 9 algebra scope.
  • If the problem continues, email support with a short description of the steps you took. Do not send a student’s name, face, full worksheet, or other sensitive material.
Your originals stay yours.

When you use the photo picker, the app may make a temporary copy in its own cache for processing. That copy is deleted before you continue. The original in your photo library is never deleted by No Panic Math.

Privacy at a glance

Questions stay on the device.

No account, ads, or tracking

The mobile app has no user account and does not use advertising, tracking, or analytics.

On-device processing

The app learning flow processes typed questions in app memory and runs photo text recognition on the device using Apple Vision or ML Kit; it does not automatically upload questions or photos. Email support is optional. Content you voluntarily add to a support email is sent to No Panic Math and email providers only if you choose Send. Students should ask a parent, guardian, or trusted adult for help and should not include private or sensitive information.

Want the full details?

Read the No Panic Math mobile app privacy policy. The separate public website has its own adult launch-email form; that form is not part of the mobile app.
